Laura, Ulises, Angel, Fransisco, Gabriel (bebe)

Laura sent her 2 oldest sons about a year ago. She has been coming now since August faithfully and has been growing in her new faith. Here is her testimony translated from Spanish and below are her prayer requests.

Jonathan and Rebecca

Hi, brothers and sisters, my name is Laura Valdes Reyes and this is my testimony. I have 6 children, but 2 of them(girls) do not live with me. The oldest one is Xochitl and the second oldest is Brenda. After my daughters I have 4 boys who are Fransisco, Ulises, Angel and Gabriel.

A neighbor of mine invited me to go to church with her and that's how I met my pastor (Jonathan) and his wife (Rebecca). They asked me if they could come by and pick up my 2 oldest boys to go to church. They also took the time to explain salvation and forgiveness of sins to me. I acepted Christ as mySaviour. That is how our spiritual journey all started.

My boys went to kids club on Saturdays and church on Sundays. I began to note a change in Fransisco and Ulises. About 5 months ago my second youngest Angel began to go with them. Then finally I began to go to seek peace and tranquility in my soul. Now I know that God cares for us and that He listens to our prayers as we live a very complicated family life as the father of my children is a drunk and a drug addict. It is very ugly at times because it hurts the family circle and those around him.

Now I feel so much more calm because God listens to me and my requests for my family. May God bless you! Please pray for me and my family using some of the requests below.
